Cragsted Race Engines

Cragsted Race Engines is located on the Southside of Brisbane in Queensland. Craig and Rosemarie are the business owners with Craig serving as Technical Director of the company. We have been building race engines for over 20 years. The company formerly known as "Cragar" has supplied many championship winning and race winning engines. In the V8 Supercar main game category, Cragsted Race Engines has supplied engines for three podiums and many more in the Development series including Luke Youlden's equal points Champion in the 2004 DVS series.

In the last 10 years, Cragsted Race Engines has shifted its focus to the V8 supercar industry and has had many successful contracts with teams such as Steve Ellery Racing, Paul Weel Racing, and more recently WPS Racing and more recently TKR and Inta Racing. We have also built and maintained Porsche 996 and 997 or the old Carrera Cup series and more recently have completed Lamborghini and Mosler engines for the GT3 series.

In 2009, Cragsted Race Engines became the sole Control Engine Builder for the V8 Ute Series. We also work on Porsche Carrera Cup series engines and TKR.
